Today I found some photos of a tortilla buffet I set up for some of my friends some time ago. The evening was great, but I discovered some small problems…
Advantages:
- Most things can be done beforehand so you can enjoy eating with your friends
- Your guests can decide on their own how they want to fill their tortilla
- Noone will leave the table and be still hungry :)
- You don’t have to think about vegetarians
Disadvantages:
- Cutting the ingredients can take hours…
- It’s hard to calculate how much everyone will eat… (I bought way too much!)
- It’s gonna be a huge mess!
Here is a list of things that I put on the table:
sour cream, cottage cheese, onions, salad, ground meat, corn, tomatoes, beans, celery
If many of your guests are vegetarians soybeans and tofu are delicious ingredients too!

Bei uns gibt es nur Faschiertes ;-)
Hm, ich denk bei uns heißt das wohl auch Faschiertes… Bin seit gut 9 Jahren Vegetarierin und da kommt mir das nicht so oft unter :)
