Some days ago I was in desperate need for a chocolate frosting without whipped cream. And since I couldn’t find what I needed on the internet I had the Idea: Just ask Grandma ;)

She searched through her cookbooks and finally gave me the best recipe I ever heard of!
- 1 yolk
- 70 g icing sugar
- 70 g smooth butter
- 60 g chocolate
The chocolate has to be melted. In the meantime you can stir the yolk, the sugar and the butter together until they are fluffy. In the end add the chocolate and put them briefly in the fridge.
But… The frosting mustn’t be too long in the fridge or it gets too firm and it takes a while until it gets smooth again!
