I found a nice gadget for all who love the Viennese language and don’t want to miss them while writing on the computer: A Vienna-Keyboard!
Every key is labelled with an Austrian term that can be inserted with only one keypress:
Sadly the keyboard doesn’t work with MAC (yet)…

I think most of you already heard that some household appliances waste energy even when they are not used but only plugged in. I always knew that, but I recently found a chart that displays the energy consumption of each device in detail. And I have to say that I was really surprised!

So, what can you do? The simplest way to get rid of Vampires it to use one of this power strips with a power switch:
That way you can not only save money, but do something for nature too ;)

Typewriter Revival |

It seems like hundreds of years that people used typewriters. To be honest, I only used one when I visited my grandparents in their store (and I was 10 years old then). But I loved it to type on it and I have to admit that I still think they are very stylish…
The same thoughts may have occured to four students from the University of Applied Arts Vienna. They designed a notebook in the style of the legendary Olivetti typewriter “Valentine” (the picture above):
Okay, doesn’t look exactly the same way… But looks pretty similar, doesn’t it? And it’s definitely an eyecatcher! What do you think?

Today I spent some time searching for xmas apps for my iPhone. I still don’t believe how much apps are online…

A christmas present from Apple! From December 26th to January 6th there is one free download available per day!
I would have loved to have a mistletoe for my flat this year but unfortunately I didn’t find one… But now I have one that I can carry around with me all the time. And moreover I can count how often I get a smooch … or smack ;)
